After opening the elevator, look ahead (only one way to go here) and locate the amber. To the Left is a cannon with 3 paths leading to a rock blocked doorway, Right you can see a wind vent. Let's go left first.
Pass the cannon and take a path up (all paths go to the same place) be careful not to hit one of those barrels (one on each path). Go to the switch, pull it and boomie the spitting spider in the nook you just opened. Get on the spiders roof and Stuff tells you to use your directional boomie to hit the bomb machine on the other side, producing a bomb that knocks the wolfen out. While the boomie is there notice the - oh, 10 or so - dogs on the ground waiting for you to remove the rocks.
Go back to the cannon and blow the rock (your already aimed in the right direction) and as many dogs that come running, hit the barrels when they are near to take out more. They come Fast, try to bomb the paths back and forth. This is a hard one, you have to do it Just Right in order to do it. I've only done it once. If you like the challenge, keep trying - you can do it. If not, there's another way to get the wolfen.
Alt: Use the cannon to blow the rocks and take out a few dogs, before they get to close jump off the cannon and run past the amber - a bit past - there is an invisible line near the amber they won't cross. You need all the remaining dogs at this line. Leave them there and move on to the next part.
To the Right of the amber is a fence, rock, air vent and wolfen. Sneak up behind the rock and wait for the wolfen to walk near you - jump out and get him. If he doesn't come close show yourself then hide again and he will come looking.
Take the air vent up to a high platform, walk out the wooden plank. Look down, jump and get on the cannon (there is mana behind you to each side of the platform you were on). Use the cannon to blow the rocks at the wall in the next area where the gears are. Get off and go to the walkway, look before going thru. There's a blue whale and a red laser dot. Boomie the blue whale (the directional boomie works grate for this) and run to the ramp you unblocked dodging the red laser dot(s). Stand on the ramp and hit the green target to get the platform down, get on and hit again to go up.
At the top, to the Right, is a spitting spider coming to get you - get him instead - fill up mana if you need to.
There is a flower, and 4 signs. The goal is to get the big door to the building open, but you need to do other things first and we're after the rune right now. The sign, pointing back to where you just were, is where you need to go. Where you came up was an air cannon being protected by the wolfen across the way (where the dogs were) and you need to get that wolfen (if you didn't get him already).
Alt: Get the wolfen where the dogs were.
Look over the edge, line yourself up and take a running jump and land on the island. Get the wolfen and then exorcise the one you bombed. Get back on the wooden platform. There are 2 boxes to the left of the doorway you opened, boomie them to break and run then run back - the dogs are coming back. Unfortunately you need to die to get out of here. Either greet the dogs or jump off a cliff. You'll start back at the shell elevator.Once you get the wolfen, take the air cannon that is where the blue whale was. This shoots you to Dark Island (and where the rune is).
14a) Airpost: Dark Island Goal = Rune, deactivate the energy fields so you can get to the Air Post blowers.
The air cannon shoots you to the back area of the map, land on the flower. Take the tunnel and go through the door. You need to 'fly' and avoid obstacles for a few minutes. Some tight areas here. At the end go up an air vent and out the tunnel, open the Shell Elevator (don't need to do that again!). From here the rune is essentially right in front of you on that floating island if you could go straight, you can't. You can only go Left (at the flower) as energy blocks your other options.
Go left, following the mana (watch the birds at the end of the bridge) and stand on the button in the cannon. This raises the target in a room you can't directly reach. Stuff shows you (and gives you an directional arrow while you are doing it) where to aim the directional boomie (go slow for more control), hit the target, you're shot across the gap.
Land on the flower, follow the mana to the edge, drop down where the buttons are. See the micken in the cage next to you. You need to walk around the ledge (hitting the birds) to the other side of his cage, break the glass and walk him back to the button. Him on one and you on the other opens the door.
Go in, break the window on the Left and use the directional boomie to check out the room, also hit the bomb machine to get a bomb that will blow the rocks blocking your path. Enter and get the 2 wolfen (1 big, 1 little). Get another bomb and run it up the ramp to the rocks blocking the ramp. Then another to get the last set of rocks, don't try to run the ramp for them, just cross the room and kick it up to the rocks use your boomie to blow the rocks when the bomb is there.
Go up the ramp (the door is blocked) all the way around and climb up to the 1st level:
Level 1: mana, hear a dog above you.
Level 2: nothing, but you can now see the dog above you. Go to the climbing wall but climb up near the back wall so you can use the crates to help block you. Don't climb until the dog is at it's farthest point from you and go all the way to the beginning of the next level. If you are not fast enough or high enough the dog will get you, if you are then he'll face plant the wall and fall.
Level 3: Bomb gun wolfen, dodge the bombs and get him
Level 4: Electric beams, run and jump to the ladder
Level 5: Crates and amber - behind bars. you can't reach them.
Level 6: Crates at the far end (blocking access to the amber below). The bottom crate on the Left has a dog. Stand Next to the ladder and boomie the crates, as soon as the dog is free run Behind the ladder & to the right of it. Dumb dog will jump, face plant the ladder and fall. Go get crates and amber if you need it.
Level 7:Look around and up. On the underside of the platform above you is climbing rope and some spiders, nail the spiders then go climb Under to the other platform and ladder across the way. Drop down and go to the ladder, you can see the 2 wolfen, when their backs are turned climb all the way up the ladder to a cannon and crates. Use the cannon to get all the wolfen (including the 3rd all the way to the other side). Get crates, jump down, get wolfen then hit the switch that Stuff is pointing out. You've deactivated the energy field now.Take the walkway to the platform where the mana is circling, jump off and land on the flower. When you land bounce Right - watch out for the traps - and get directly behind a trap. There's a dog coming from the left and he will run right into the trap. Wait for the trap to settle in it's spot then hit the green target next to it (it's ok if you hit the trap first). The target removes a wooden platform below the trap, which after the dog is released drops the dog into oblivion.
Now, lets get the rune. To the Left of you is an air cannon, to the Right is a door and a micken. Go to the micken and look up the cliff - a cave full of crates. Use the micken to jump up and boomie the crates (and the spitting spider inside) then clean up. Back down, you can use the micken to open the door but it just takes you back to the start of the ramp and levels. Take the air cannon back to the shell elevator.
The air cannon shoots you high up and you fall down a sea shell, avoid the shell ledges inside and land on the flower (along with a bunch of mana).
Look around, there is a cannon at the end of the middle area (just to the right of where you went before) and 3 spitting spiders, use your directional boomie to hit the spiders 2-3 times each and get rid of them, get the mana and go to the cannon. Use the cannon to break the rocks on the island it is pointed at. To the left of the cannon is wind, use that to cross to the island. Go around the fence, and use the rocks to hide from the wolfen shooting at you. Make you way to the elevator at the Left of the wolfen. Go up, and immediately Right (behind the big rock) is the wolfen, sneak up behind him and knock him off the platform - go back down and get him, come back up. Go straight from the platform and get the rune (in the middle of the building thing). To the right (towards land) is an air cannon that shoots you to the shell & flower.
Only one way left you haven't been. This way ends with an additional life bar so it is worth doing.
Walk to the end of the ledge and take a look, right below you is a big wolfen and off to the left are 6 gun wolfen. Use your direction boomie and hit the bomb machine behind them, they get blasted into unconsciousness. Drop down and get the big wolfen yourself then exorcise all the wolfen, clean up crates, use amber if necessary.
Go to the 2 ramps with 2 switches. The switch with the arrow pointing Left calls the subway car to you, the other sends it back. Get the car - get in - hide behind the wall between the 2 openings on the cart and use your directional boomie to send the car back.
When it stops use the boomie to look around outside, see lots of wolfen and bomb barrels, hit a barrel to knock out all the wolfen then come out and clean up.
Take the bridge, then the next bridge (to the door) and turn to face the air cannon (from across the gap). There are 4 crates, the lonely one has a dog. Boomie it and let the dog come after you, he falls down the gap. Go get the crates but don't take the cannon yet.
Go through the door, start shooting your boomie as soon as it opens enough, there are (always) 2 blue whales in the room - sometimes they give you nooties. No need to aim, just throw.
Out the other door, Stuff tells you he see's an energy bar - ignore him, it's no where near you yet. Go down the hill and Right at the wooden walkway. Keep following it to the building, break glass and jump in going immediately into sneak mode. There is a wolfen at the opposite side with his back to you. Get him. Out the door - immediately go right, behind the rocks is a hidden crate of nooties/mana. Go to the buttons, you need a micken to open the door - he's just past the wind and, as Stuff will tell you, can't be kicked through the wind. Go through to the micken. Just past the micken is the start of the wood walkway (and 2 birds). You need to walk/run/kick the micken thru the whole walkway to get him to the other side. I recommend doing it a few times by yourself to get familiar with it. To the center of the walkway is 3 air vents, you can safely fall into them but the micken can't. Get the micken around and place him on a button so you can open the door.
Through the door, take the hall. When you stop you are facing 2 switches. The Left one opens the room with the dog (where you need to go) and the right opens the opposite room with the crates, get them and stand in front of the open room. Use your boomie to open the dogs room and when he jumps at you dodge Right and hit the switch to close the dog into this other room. Go to the dogs room and step on the button in the corner, opening the next door.
Next door, short hall and 3 big wolfen. Get them, go back to the short hall - there will be a low opening on your Left blocked by a crate - bunch of mana and nooties inside, crouch to get in after breaking the crate.
Go back into the room, take the next door. As soon as you are through the door start throwing your boomie Left, there is a blue whale. Behind him is amber and mana. Get mana/amber and go back towards the door, find the air shaft and take it up. Land on a platform with amber and a bomb machine, use a bomb to get the rocks blocking your path. The open area to the Right is more wind vents (you can fall in and be ok but the bomb can't). This wooden path leads to that big room, which has rocks and a wolfen blocking the entrance. Use the air to drop in on the wolfen and get him. If he falls instead then use the bombs (you have Just enough time to get one here if you have no delays) to blow a rock and open the path (you don't need to blow them all). You can also stand with your back to the rocks and let the wolfen shoot at you to blow the rocks if you have him. You have to die to get the wolfen back if he falls, I suggest doing it. He is easier to get once you get the room open enough to drag him in. In the room is crates and the extra life bar.
Once you are done here, walk the plank and jump down, aim yourself left and to the air vents you kicked the micken around (no flower). Go back up the hill past the room with 2 blue whales and to the air cannon on the other side. Take that back to the shell elevator.
You've now should have completed Airpost: Dark Island Section. You are not done with the Airpost.
Take stock. By this point you should have at least if not more:
all but one shop open, 5 runes (Roots, Flying Forest, Hunters Domain, Quarry, Airpost), 300 mana capacity, 6 bracelets (through the black one - 2 left: silver and gold which add to your hit power), 166 wolfen free & 94 left to free, 63% complete with the game and about 2 domains left to access.
15) Airpost: Goal = Wolfen Guard Room
Hint: Get wolfen as you come to them, jump off a ledge if necessary. There is no backtracking on this one. If you miss one and go past his area you need to go back to the beginning and work your way through again.
Staring at the Flower in front of the big door (your objective) find the Guard room (read the signs around the flower).
Go up to the door and hit the switch to open it. Go just inside and sneak behind the wall then crates. Wait for the wolfen to turn away and jump over the crates, get him. Clean up the crates.
Hit the switch to open the next door. Right in front of you is a floor button with a rock hanging above it, break the rope and drop the rock. Look Left.. you need to dodge the spinning spikes and step on the other button to open the door, dodge the spikes and go through the door.
Just through this door is a giant spider to the Left, just past him is a walk way that looks like a setup.. it is. Go there. As soon as you are on the wood walkway spinning spike block the path back, the wood wall in front of you drops down revealing another giant spider. Get the spider and go into the room, get the crate and 'bounce' up the 2 wooden walls in the middle to a higher platform. Down a level to the Right is another platform with a Wolfen, get him (knock him to the ground) drop down, exorcise him and then bounce back up. Look over the ledge and see another wolfen in the next area. Drop down and get him.
Walk along the fence, at the end lurk around to the front of the fence, hugging the fence and follow it back to a corner. There is a micken waiting for you. Use it to reach a ledge up (to the Left of you) then climb up to another platform. Over the end is another wolfen, drop down and knock him off (knocking him out but don't go after him yet), turn around (to the platform you just came from) and crawl under the wall (small gap) inside to the left (jump and lurk) to some crates, go back out and look over the ledge you knocked the wolfen from. To the Left is some rocks sticking up, cover rocks, drop run to the closest and lurk behind (you're probably being shot at by then, don't stand up). Find the next one (to the left of this one) and run then crouch behind that one. Your goal is the climbing wall to the left of the wolfen firing at you.. run, dodging the spiders, to it. At the wall turn around (back to wall) and hit the spiders if you want, no need to aim just throw when you hear them close and the boomie will hit them. Climb up the wall. At the top is a building - notice the barred door, window and open window with wolfen. Stand near the end (closest to you) of the building and use your directional boomie through the wolfens opening to hit the switch on the other side of the bars... opening the door. Turn around and go to the back of the building (outside of it), note the crates but DON'T break them yet. Get a bomb, run/kick it to the wolfen (through the door) to knock him out. Refill life if necessary with the amber by where the wolfen was, go back to those crates outside you just ignored. Use the crates to get on the roof for 2 more crates (nooties and a ton of mana), drop back down and get the rest of the crates now. Then go back to ground level and get the 2 wolfen waiting to be exorcised. I prefer to take a moment and get any remaining spiders now.
Go step on the button near the door, Stuff will tell you to use your boomie (through the small hole to the Right of the barred window) you need to hit the switch Stuff is pointing out but while you are there look around. Notice the 3 wolfen and the hole in the floor with spikes, you need to get them as soon as you get in, avoid the spikes. Walk around, find the side room blocked by traps, to the Left of that is a micken fruit tree and to the Left of that is a cage of mickens. First, Get a fruit and kick it to a trap close to the micken in the room, then get fruit and kick it to in front of the caged micken, hit the target repeatedly to open the door and the micken will come out. kick the micken (use the fruit if necessary) to the traps to clear a path to the pedestal (and the wolfen map). Past the map is a glass wall, break the glass, go thru and take the air cannon back to the start of the area.
16) Airpost: Goal = Energy Control Room
You're back at the flower. Go past the mana beast and use your Boomie to hit the switch on the other side of the gate while the 2 wolfen are away (they are riding the moving platform). While they are still gone run into the room just past the switch is a rock nook you can hide in (lurk) until they are gone. When they are gone use your directional boomie to find the bomb machine (at the far end of their path) and hit a bomb onto their platform - if you miss keep ducking and trying until you get them. Hide until the bomb goes off, it should take them both out - if not do another bomb until they are both ready for exorcising. Once they are gone, jump on the moving platform and exorcise them. Get a bomb (when you and the platform are at that end) and ride back to the wall, kick the bomb to the rocks blocking your path. Once the rocks are blown go to the next area, watch out for the 2 giant spiders.
Past where the giant spiders came from; 3 crates, micken fruit and the bomb machine island. If you need life you can jump the planks to amber and a bird. Skip it unless it's necessary, it's easier to go back down to the beginning of this section and use that amber and use the mana beast to refill mana.
Get the crates and some micken fruit, run it back to the micken cage and hit the target to get the micken out. Put the micken on one button, you on the other, to open the door. Run in going Right, dodging blue lasers to the ramp (mana), take the platform up. Hit the X button to turn off the energy, take the path to the air cannon and go back to the beginning. The big door should be open now.
17) Airpost Blowers: Goal = Make your way to the top of the blowers, through the mountain and to the Forgotten Island cannon.
Through the door. Go Right and jump down a level. Stand to the far right of the platform (past the green button) and boomie the green button, the air will blow you against the wall, you need to follow it by crawling and jumping [X] along, avoid obstacle in your path, this will drop you on a new platform. Go Left under the wood wall and watch the sliding wall (darker) use it, when it's out, to bounce up to the next level.
For the next round of air, stay to the front (Left) of the circle, when you hit the spinning circle wait at the edge until your air circle covers the center bar, jump at that point to the center bar, repeat to get to the other side. At the end of this air blower is another platform with an air cannon.
Before you take the cannon, drop down and get the wolfen on the adjacent platform below you, you can jump back up after. Be careful not to knock him over the edge, hit him into the wall(s). Jump back up and take the air cannon to the next level, no need to 'control' the flight - it drops you safely.
You get 2 more buttons, go past the green one (like before) turn and hit it - this one is tricky - use same tactics as before, but this time instead of a bar you need to wait until the doors close, don't jump until you are almost out of time - you have to time these just right or you lose the air. For the moving blue lasers, avoid the blocks at the end of them, the laser itself will take a bit of life but it won't knock you off, the blocks will. You land on your last platform.
At the platform go to the next room, with mana and amber, go just through the blue door and stop. You will see that you are behind a wall. Look around. There is 1 wolfen on the raised platform with a gun. Using the crates for cover lurk to the Left of the platform. When he is at the farthest point jump up and get back into lurk mode. He'll kinda see you - but not - then jump off the platform to the ground (not knocking himself out). Go up on the platform to above where the wolfen is, drop down basically on top of him and get him. During your fight you may step on the button opening the next door, if you do be prepared to fight a big wolfen at the same time. If you don't once you get this one, step on the button and get the next one. I think he needs to step on his button at the same time. After getting them get the crates from the first room then come back, go to the next room - get 3 more crates - and get IN the box on the platform. Boomie the button and then LURK [L2] to hide. Look around before getting out, notice the crates and the gun wolfen walking his path. When he's not around/looking jump out of the crate you are in and use the others to help hide you [L2] until you can sneak up behind the wolfen and attack him. If you are not close enough, or he sees you, he will shoot - you need to run (if you can) and get back in the box, go back down if necessary - this one is hard if you are not careful. Once you get him clean up the crates that are left (if any) then go up the blocks next to the gate.
Before jumping down.. see that wolfen? You need to get him before he free's the dog. Once you get him you need to go towards the next doorway.. let the wolfen see you (try to dodge the bullets) climb the wall (to the Left) and get on the platform over the door and wait, the wolfen will come out to where you are, as soon as he turns to go back drop down behind him and get him. Go through to the next room.
See the glowing '3' to the Left, that's a shell elevator with a big wolfen guarding it. Go get him, try not to knock him through the window. Once you get him open the elevator then go back to the other area, get crates - amber, etc. Note the spinning floor spikes near the amber, you need that in a minute. Go to the window with the dog and stand on the button, the dog will step on the other one and open the door, you need to turn around and run - for the spikes, make sure dog is behind you (if you don't change your camera angle you can see him come) and jump - bounce/flip off wall - over the spikes. If you time it right the dog will face plant into the wall and fall into the spikes.
Go back, through the dogs room to an elevator platform, take it up to the top. At the top are 2 blue whales waiting for you - nail them. Take the air cannon to the next section.
Sneak over to climbing wall and go up. Sneak up behind the wolfen and knock him down. Get the crate and go exorcise wolfen. Open the door and kick a bomb into the wolfen standing there, and the one in the train. Exorcise them. Kick a bomb into the train then hit the arrow to send it to the next stop. Send your boomie after it, hit the explosive barrel at the stop. If you got all the wolfen, call the train back and ride it over.
Get the wolfen and go through the doorway. Use your boomie to nail the big spider and the one just past it. Use the boomie to hit the bomb machine, the bomb blows the rocks in the center revealing a target, stand on the wood platform, hit the target. A moving platform comes to you, as soon as it's there get on, ride until it stops. Bounce up the walls to the next platform. Go through the door to a new room. 2 signs, Left = Dead End (some amber that's hard to get due to the dog) and Right = Forgotten Island Cannon Room, there's a blue whale. Nail the whale go to the wooden platform. Stand on the wood, near the wall, and turn around - hit the green target across the room to start the air. You need to jump up into it, use everything you learned before in the blower room, but do it faster. It may take a few tries. Once across, get the 3 crates on the other side (near the green button) and then go out. Use the cannon to blow the rocks blocking the wind, take the wind up. When you land there is a gun wolfen, land quick and engage him... draw him back from the edge and get him. Jump up the next ledge and cross the bridge going side to side to dodge the bombs the wolfen on the other side is shooting at you. Carefully get him.
Jump to the climbing wall - dodge the spider on the way up - at the top is 2 signs. Left = Dead End and Straight = (to a door) Forgotten Island Cannon Room and Right = Dead End; a blue whale, shell elevator and tons of mana. Open the elevator and go back to the Left Dead End. Follow the mana ball past the bomb machine to the platform. Boomie the window across from you then get a bomb and kick it in, the goal is the dog on the floor. Go back to the door.
Step on the button to open the door, without hitting the dog, aim and hit the barrel (pretty much right in front of you) when the dog is close to it. The go in. To the Right is a climbing wall, take it all the way up and over.. at the end drop down and knock the big wolfen to the ground, drop down and exorcise him then go back up. Take the hallway to the end, on the left is another door. Go in.
'Stuff' tells you where you need to 'direct' your boomie (out and around the other side of the fence to the bomb machine). Once you get the 3 wolfen with the bomb you need to start the obstacle course. You need to take the path that forces you to step on the button, and run.. you need to roll/run under until the end then bounce over the wall before the dog gets you. Once over the wall get a couple crates and get ready to run again.. under the wall and jump the floor spikes, the dog lands in the spikes. Continue along the ledge to the wolfen that are waiting to be exorcised. Use a bomb on the rocks you just past and the rocks in the doorway. Take the new all and break glass at the end, jump down. Note switch then step on the button to open the door, go around to the other side (should be a mana path) and step on the button then use your boomie to hit that switch you just found and open the next door. Walk the hall and go through another door, watch the big spider. Almost there.
Go straight, stop and the wind and watch, you need to go into the wind and push off the wall to get across, try to avoid the laser. Just past is a mana beast and amber. Use them.
Past the mana beast is a wooden platform, before getting on look towards the building - you need to jump into the wind and hit the window - either your boomie can break through or a wolfen will shoot at you breaking the window. Either way you are in and surrounded by 4 wolfen. You need to get them all.
After you get the wolfen, there is an open hall and a door, behind the door is amber and crates - get those then take the hall. This leads you to the cannon (no more danger here). Get in the cannon and take a (movie) ride to the Forgotten Island.
